The centre of historic Oxford is just a short drive from The Talkhouse, with its museums, colleges, antique book shops and myriad of independent specialists. A shopper's delight there's enough to keep you amused for days, and it's a boon to the history lover too, as some of England's finest architecture is present in the city.


For those with grander plans Blenheim Palace is a short drive away, as is the delightful village of Bicester, and if you're staying in one of our rooms for a few nights, don't forget to bring your clubs - there's no shortage of golf courses in the area!
